Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Collection Technician to efficiently collect plasma from donors by performing venipuncture and monitoring the pheresis process in a compliant center environment. You will set up donors, monitor during collection, and disconnect after procedures, ensuring product quality and donor safety.

The role includes educating donors about plasma products, screening processes, appointment systems, and center policies while maintaining accurate records in the donor management system

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• California-specific requirements may apply: state phlebotomy certification or RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process per SOPs.
• Set up, monitor, and disconnect donors during pheresis.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Educate donors on plasma products, screening, and center policies.
• Monitor donor safety and assist with adverse events as needed.
