Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a plasma collection technician to perform venipuncture and pheresis, ensuring donor safety and adherence to SOPs. You will manage donor setup, monitoring and data entry with emphasis on accurate records and quality control.

Educating donors about the donation process and safeguarding health and safety throughout the procedure are essential. The role supports a compliant, efficient plasma collection environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection per SOPs.
• Donor setup, monitoring and disconnect.
• Venipuncture to begin pheresis per FDA guidelines.
• Monitor vein performance and donor safety during donation.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Educate donors about plasma products, fees, policies and safety.
