Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Donor Center Phlebotomist/Pheresis tech to collect plasma from donors and monitor the pheresis process. The role requires donor setup, monitoring, and disconnect following SOPs to ensure safety and efficiency.

You will educate donors on the donation process, record data in the digital system, and stay alert for donor reactions while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma from donors by venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process.
• Perform donor setup, monitoring, disconnect and pheresis in accordance with SOPs.
• Educate donors on the donation process and center policies when appropriate.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system and monitor for donor safety.
• Respond to donor reactions, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain a clean workspace.
