Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomy Technician to support plasma collection. You will perform venipuncture, monitor donors during pheresis, and ensure adherence to SOPs and FDA guidelines while maintaining donor safety and comfort.

You will document donor information, manage equipment alarms, and contribute to a clean, safe work environment. Prior experience in medical settings and strong attention to safety are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Must comply with SOPs, FDA guidelines, and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to begin pheresis and monitor the donor during collection.
• Operate pheresis equipment according to SOPs and monitor donor setup, monitoring and disconnect.
• Educate donors about the donation process, health screenings, appointment system and policies as needed.
• Document donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Monitor donor flow and respond to alarms or adverse events during the procedure.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with maintenance and incident documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with HSE/OSHA policies.
