Job summary

Qualifications

• Education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• External candidates must have at least 6 months’ experience as a phlebotomist; 1 year preferred.
• Minimum of 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment is preferred, or an equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection per SOPs, including setup, monitoring, and donor disconnect.
• Perform venipuncture to initiate the pheresis process according to FDA guidelines.
• Evaluate donor vein performance and adjust as needed for efficiency and donor safety.
