Job summary

CSL in Florida is seeking a donor services specialist to perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection in accordance with SOPs and FDA guidelines. Responsibilities include donor setup, monitoring, venipuncture, and ensuring product quality and donor safety while providing a positive donor experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18 months in healthcare, and may involve bilingual skills; benefits include health coverage, 401(k), PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 18 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Specialized phlebotomy training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the pheresis procedure and plasma collection according to SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Conduct donor setup, monitoring, and donor disconnect with safety and efficiency.
• Perform venipuncture to begin pheresis process and ensure product quality.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products, screening, fees, policies and proper nutrition.
• Maintain donor data in the electronic system and monitor for adverse events.
