Zusammenfassung

CSL is seeking a Donor Pheresis Technician who prepares the donor, donor area, and equipment for the pheresis process and ensures the autopheresis machine is ready. You will monitor donors and the process, respond to alarms, and safely disconnect the donor when complete.

You will document incidents in the PDA, link equipment to donors, maintain confidentiality, and follow HSE/OSHA policies while keeping supplies stocked and the work area clean.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Aufgaben

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data in the PDA and donor information system.
• Link equipment and supplies used to the appropriate donor in the system.
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and maintain confidentiality.
