Job summary

CSL Vifor seeks a donor center technician to prepare pheresis equipment and support donor flow. You will monitor the pheresis process, respond to alarms, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. • High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment.
• Basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and pheresis process and responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains awareness of donor reactions and notifies appropriate staff.
• Uses PDA to record incidents, link equipment to donors, and record donor data.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information system.
• Follows SOPs and Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and OSHA policies; maintains confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
