Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor pheresis technician to prepare the autopheresis machine, monitor donors, respond to alarms, and ensure accurate data capture during the pheresis process. You will coordinate with staff and follow SOPs to maintain donor safety and center efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 3 months in a medical setting, and the ability to perform basic math. A productive, safety-focused approach is essential in a fast-paced environment with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions during or after the pheresis process and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents during the pheresis process using the PDA.
• Link equipment and consumables to the appropriate donor in the PDA.
• Alert supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor management system.
