Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking personnel to support pheresis operations, including preparing the autopheresis machine, monitoring donors, and disconnecting donors after the procedure. The role involves recording incidents with a PDA and ensuring donor data integrity in the information system.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3 months of health-provider experience, and the ability to perform basic math calculations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions during or after pheresis and notify appropriate staff.
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA and link equipment to donors.
• Ensure accurate donor data entry in the electronic donor information management system.
