Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a staff member in Pensacola to support pheresis donor procedures. You will prepare the donor, donor area, and equipment for the pheresis process and monitor the process, responding to alarms and ensuring donor safety.

You may be cross-trained to other areas as needed, with bilingual skills possible at discretion. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three months of related work experience (preferably in a medical setting), and basic math能力.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months' work experience, preferably in a medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions during or after pheresis and notify appropriate staff.
• Record incidents and equipment linkage in the PDA for the pheresis process.
• Link equipment and supplies to the appropriate donor in the system.
