Job summary

CSL Plasma in Homestead, FL is seeking a Customer Service - Donor Support Technician (Bilingual English/Spanish) for a full-time role. You will prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process, monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms, and ensure donor safety while accurately recording data.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three months of experience in a medical or health provider environment, plus basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data in the PDA and electronic donor information system.
• Ensure proper linkage of equipment and supplies to the donor and report flow issues to supervisors.
