Job summary

CSL Plasma Akron is seeking a detail‑oriented Phlebotomy Support Technician to prepare donors, areas, and equipment for the pheresis process. You will set up the autopheresis machine and monitor donors throughout the procedure, ensuring safety and accuracy.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 months' healthcare experience, basic math skills, and potential bilingual capability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months' work experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area, and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness and awareness to any donor reactions and notify staff.
