Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months of work experience in a medical or health provider setting.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and equipment linkage in the PDA and donor system.
• Link equipment and supplies to the appropriate donor in the system.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor to donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data is recorded in the electronic system.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and promote safety.
• Maintain donor, center, and personnel confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
