Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor area and equipment for pheresis.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents using a PDA and link equipment to donors.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic donor information system per SOPs.
• Promote safety and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
