Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Pheresis Technician to support automated donor pheresis sessions in a clinical setting at our Lakeland, FL site. You will prepare the donor, area, and equipment, monitor the procedure, and respond to alarms to ensure donor safety.

Responsibilities include documenting events with the PDA, linking equipment to donors in the system, and maintaining a compliant, clean work environment. Prior health-care exposure and attention to safety are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA system.
• Link equipment and supplies to the donor in the system.
• Alert supervisor to donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data entry in the electronic system.
• Follow all HSE and OSHA policies and procedures.
