Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare the autopheresis machine and donor area for pheresis procedures. You will monitor the donor and process, addressing alarms and ensuring donor safety, then disconnect the donor upon completion.

You will use a PDA to log incidents, link equipment to donors, and document donor data in the electronic system, while maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience, preferably in a medical or health provider setting.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA and the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
