CSL Plasma is seeking a Pheresis Technician in Michigan to prepare donors and equipment, monitor the pheresis process, and respond to alarms. You will record incidents using the PDA and ensure accurate donor data entry per SOPs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months of related healthcare experience, with basic math skills essential for calculations and process checks.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience in medical/health provider environment or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents on the PDA, including alarms, variances and adverse events.
• Link equipment and supplies used in the pheresis process to the donor in the PDA.
• Inform Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information system.
• Follow all HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety in all actions.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
