Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Support Technician in Michigan to prepare the autopheresis equipment and monitor donors during the pheresis procedure. The role requires attention to safety, data accuracy, and adherence to SOPs.

The position is part-time with requirements including a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months of healthcare experience. Cross-training may occur to support center operations.

Qualifications

• Basic math calculations are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 months of work experience in a medical/health setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness for donor reactions and notify staff when needed.
• Record incidents and link equipment to the donor using the PDA.
• Ensure accurate donor data entry in the electronic system.
