Job summary

CSL in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking an on-site Donor Pheresis Technician to prepare donors, areas, and equipment for pheresis, and to prep the autopheresis machine. You will monitor donors, respond to alarms, and ensure proper data capture and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions; notify appropriate staff.
• Record incidents and donor data in the PDA and link equipment to the donor.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
