Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician to support donor pheresis procedures in our Michigan center. You will prepare the donor, donor area, and equipment for each session, and monitor the donor and process while responding to alarms.

You will document incidents using a PDA, maintain accurate donor data per SOPs, and assist with maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with HSE/OSHA policies. Bilingual skills may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum three months' work experience in medical or health provider environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and link equipment/donor data using the PDA.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
