Job summary

CSL Vifor in Dallas, TX seeks a Donor Pheresis Technician to prepare donor areas and equipment, and to monitor donor flow during the pheresis process. You will respond to alarms, disconnect the donor when complete, and ensure proper documentation using the PDA.

Responsibilities include recording incidents, linking supplies to donors, maintaining donor data per SOPs, and upholding HSE/OSHA standards while protecting confidentiality. Cross-training and bilingual skills may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months’ work experience in a medical or health-provider environment or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Strong reliability and attention to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA; link equipment to donor.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic management system per SOPs.
• Adhere to HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety in all actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed; assist as required.
