Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician in Dallas to prepare the donor, donor area, and equipment for pheresis procedures. The role includes monitoring donors, responding to alarms, and ensuring accurate data entry in the electronic donor information system.

Responsibilities also cover documenting incidents via PDA, linking equipment to donors, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding HSE/OSHA policies to ensure a safe center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals that may occur during the process.
• Record incidents using the Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and link equipment to the donor.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor, center and personnel information.
• Promote safety by following Health Safety & Environment (HSE) and OSHA policies and procedures.
