Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Pheresis Technician in Dallas, TX to prepare donor and equipment for the pheresis process and monitor the procedure for safety and accuracy. You will handle donor data entry, incident logging, and ensure compliance with SOPs.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to perform basic math, and a preference for candidates with healthcare environment experience. Some cross-training and bilingual skills may be needed, with a focus on delivering safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math calculations.
• 3 months experience in medical/health provider environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms/signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data in the PDA and donor information system.
• Link equipment and supplies to the appropriate donor in the PDA.
• Alert supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Maintain documentation in SOPs and ensure confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and may require bilingual skills.
