Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a phlebotomy-focused team member to support pheresis procedures. You will prepare donors, areas and equipment, monitor the process and respond to alarms, and disconnect donors when completed.

You will document events using a PDA and the electronic donor information system, maintain confidentiality, and follow HSE/OSHA policies. The role may involve cross-training and bilingual requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals that may occur during the process.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness and notify staff of donor reactions during and after pheresis.
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA and link equipment to donors in the system.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and ensure adequate supplies; follow HSE and OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas.
