Job summary

CSL Vifor in Baytown, Texas is seeking a dedicated Donor Services Associate to support the apheresis process in our center. You will prepare the donor, equipment, and area for pheresis and monitor the procedure to ensure donor safety and data accuracy.

Responsibilities include operating the apheresis machine, responding to alarms, recording incidents in the PDA, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment. A high school diploma and 3 months of health care experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to donor reactions and notifies staff as needed.
