Job summary

CSL in Norman, OK is seeking a detail-oriented technician to prepare the donor area and the pheresis processors, ensuring the autopheresis machine is ready and donors are properly monitored throughout the procedure.

You will record incidents with a PDA, link equipment to donors, alert supervisors to flow issues, and maintain accurate donor data in the center’s information system. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and potential cross-training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience in medical/health provider environment preferred.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify appropriate staff.
• Record incidents using PDA during the pheresis process.
• Link equipment and soft goods used in the pheresis process to the donor.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow SOPs and HSE/OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at organization discretion.
