Job summary

Perry Homes is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee Phase II construction activities from sheetrock taping to home completion and to perform warranty service according to company procedures.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple contractors across jobsites, ordering materials, and ensuring quality standards. You will also monitor costs, manage schedules, and support the Project Manager and senior leaders as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively and professionally with independent contractors and homeowners, both verbally and in writing. Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to complete tasks on short notice under extreme time constraints. Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, reports, blueprints, construction plans, plats and development plans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the various independent contractors over multiple jobsites.
• Order construction materials.
• Monitor the quantity and quality of construction materials and completed tasks.
• Ensure standards of quality as set forth by Perry Homes.
• Manage time under construction, supervise construction, control overhead costs, track budget variances, and handle change orders.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager, Vice President of Construction, or Division President.
