You will help build a service-conscious Pharmacy that consistently aims to develop strong relationships with patients, while supporting safe, accurate and efficient care to reach the best outcomes for patients, teammates and the company. This entry-level role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and eligibility to obtain registration with the state board of pharmacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the applicable state board of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion at pharmacy entry points.
• Process orders in person and by phone, directing questions to the pharmacist as needed.
• Maintain a neat, compliant work environment to meet company and government requirements (HIPAA focus).
• Assist team members to ensure the department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions for drop-off, will call, drive-thru, and order receiving; manage patient profiles and inventory.
• Assist in executing company initiatives and programs; complete training and exams.
• Answer phones and ensure accurate information is exchanged and customers are satisfied.
• Transcribe prescriptions accurately to generate customer labels; maintain proper inventory levels by stocking and rotating drugs.
