You will help build a service-minded pharmacy that fosters strong relationships with patients and supports a high-performing team. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing orders, maintaining a clean work area, handling prescriptions, and assisting with inventory and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 to 6 months experience as a Pharmacy Technician trainee or in a related role.
• Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the applicable state board of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion and a smile at all pharmacy entry points.
• Model excellent patient care by respecting, engaging and meeting or exceeding patient needs, including processing orders in person and by phone.
• Maintain a neat and clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
• Assist team members with tasks to ensure department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions to maximize efficiency and provide optimal patient care at drop-off, will call, drive thru, phone, filling and order receiving.
• Assist in executing company initiatives and programs.
• Complete required training program and exams.
• Follow all policies, laws and regulations, including HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine sales.
• Finalize sales using cash register according to procedures.
• Transcribe data from prescriptions to generate customer labels.
• Maintain inventory levels by ordering, receiving, stocking and rotating drugs and supplies.
• Answer telephone politely and timely; ensure accurate information is exchanged.
• Resolve customer questions by communicating with customer and staff.
• File written prescriptions daily.
