Qualifications

• Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the applicable state board of pharmacy
• Experience required: 0 to 6 months
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion at all pharmacy entry points.
• Process orders in person and by phone, directing questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a neat and clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
• Assist team to ensure department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions for drop-off, will call, drive thru, and order receiving.
• Transcribe data from prescriptions to generate customer labels.
• Assist with maintaining proper inventory by ordering, receiving, stocking and rotating drugs.
• Answer telephone, provide accurate information, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine policies; execute company initiatives and trainings.
