Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to obtain registration as a pharmacy technician with the state board of pharmacy.
• Experience required: 0 to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with compassion and a smile at all pharmacy entry points.
• Assist in processing orders in person and by phone, and refer questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a neat, clean work environment to comply with company and government requirements.
• Assist team members to ensure the department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions for drop-off, will call, drive-thru, phone, filling and order receiving.
• Support in executing company initiatives and training programs.
• Finalize sales at the point of sale following procedures.
• Transcribe prescription data to generate patient labels.
• Maintain inventory levels by ordering, receiving, stocking and rotating drugs and supplies.
