Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the applicable state board of pharmacy.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion and a smile at all pharmacy entry points.
• Assist in processing orders in person and by phone, refer questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a neat and clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
• Assist team members to ensure the department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to process tasks and manage prescriptions from drop-off to order receiving, including profiling patients and determining dates of fill.
