Qualifications

• Experience required: 0 to 6 months.
• Education required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification/licensing: Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with state board.
• Lifting: Up to 25 pounds.
• Age: At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients at pharmacy entry points with compassion.
• Process orders in person and by phone, direct questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a neat, compliant work environment.
• Assist team to ensure department runs efficiently.
• Use pharmacy computer to manage fills, pricing, inventory and orders.
• Assist with improving outcomes using service and business metrics.
• Complete required training and exams.
• Follow company, state and federal policies including HIPAA.
