Pharmacy Technician / Pharm Tech Apprenticeship

The training includes foundational and advanced knowledge, skills, and on-the-job experience to prepare for certification.

Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist under supervision, in accordance with regulations and company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations.
3. Deliver excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.

Customer Experience

• Greet and assist customers, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members.

Operations

• Support pharmacy practices, including entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting with inventory.
• Report prescription errors and adhere to dispensing policies.
• Handle sales transactions and assist with clerical duties.
• Support clinical services and maintain pharmacy environment.

Training & Development

• Maintain PTCB certification, attend training, and pursue continuing education.
• Fluent English skills required; flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred experience: retail environment, Walgreens familiarity, math, computer skills, and PTCB certification.
