Pharmacy Technician / Pharm Tech Apprenticeship

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in practicing pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if certified.
• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with customers, resolving issues, and building relationships.

Additional duties:

• Perform pharmacy tasks such as entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting in inventory management.
• Support clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintain a neat and stocked pharmacy environment and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Training & Personal Development:

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through our program or state requirements.
• Attend training and acquire continuing education credits to stay updated in healthcare and pharmacy practices.
• Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: six months of retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
