Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers seeks a pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in patient care. You will handle reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and safety standards. Responsibilities include CLIA-waived screenings and assisting with non-dispensing services using various platforms. A state certification/licensure is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient intervention and health/wellness services as allowed by state and federal laws.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience while performing reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings in line with state/federal law and company policies.
