Smith's Food & Drug Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacists, perform data entry, adjudication, and dispensing while delivering a stellar customer experience. You will uphold HIPAA privacy, maintain required registrations, and comply with state and federal laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Support the continued coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adherence to company policies.
• Compound medications according to state and other regulations.
• Perform post fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records.
• Support non-dispensing services through various platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings in line with state and federal law and company policies.
• Provide health and wellness services allowed by state and other regulatory bodies.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
