Job summary

Kroger is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists with dispensing, patient interaction, and health-and-w wellness services. You will handle data entry, HIPAA compliance, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, maintaining records, and supporting CLIA-waived screenings where allowed. A high school diploma or GED and current licensure are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure as a pharmacy technician.
• Ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing medications and verifying orders.
• Provide stellar customer service at the counter and data entry tasks.
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings where allowed by state law and policy.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Maintain accurate records and perform post-fill audits.
