Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment. You will provide patient-facing health and wellness services, ensure HIPAA compliance, and maintain accurate dispensing records in a fast-paced store pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities include reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps, plus supporting clerks and technicians, conducting CLIA-waived screenings where allowed, and maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.
• Any previous comparable experience.
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and health/wellness support.
• Assist pharmacist with duties not requiring professional judgement.
• Reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing steps.
• Support training of clerks/technicians and participate in audits.
• Prepare medications according to regulations and conduct post-fill checks.
• Support non-dispensing services and use various platforms/applications.
