You will assist pharmacists, manage data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps while maintaining privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; state licensure or national certification as applicable.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to work in this role.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information in a retail pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives and HIPAA compliance.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current state registrations or licenses as required.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities excluding professional judgment.
• Provide stellar customer experience across reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing steps.
• Support coaching of clerks and technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data.
• Support non-dispensing services via various platforms and apps.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings in line with laws and policies.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations; report unsafe conditions.
• Report illegal activity when observed; comply with laws.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
