Job summary

Smith's Food and Drug is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide exceptional customer service and accurate data entry in a fast-paced community store. You will assist pharmacists, handle reception tasks, and support dispensing and non-dispensing services while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, be at least 18, and maintain current registration or licensure as required by state law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; must be 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities excluding professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience with reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations and patient interactions.
• Perform reception duties and data entry for prescriptions.
• Support product dispensing and non-dispensing services as needed.
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings in accordance with policies.
• Maintain sanitation and safety regulations in store.
