Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support MTM services and coordinate medication therapy management for members.

Responsibilities include reviewing med lists, obtaining refills, communicating treatment plans with providers, and assisting with access to medications while documenting care delivered. Strong communication and licensure are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED from accredited institution.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists.
• Nationally certified or licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to support adherence and remove barriers to therapy.
• Obtain refills, set up new prescriptions, and coordinate appointments.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with Healthfirst pharmacists and partners.
• Communicate member adherence with community pharmacies.
• Perform patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications telephonically.
• Additional duties as necessary.
