Job summary

CareMed Specialty Pharmacy in Buffalo, NY is hiring a Pharmacy Technician / Inbound Care Coordinator to support our growing specialty program. You will handle prescription processing, coordinate medication delivery, collect co-payments, and provide excellent phone support to patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• PTCB Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience; 2–4 years in retail or specialty pharmacy preferred.
• Familiar with billing quantities, SIG codes, and medication nomenclature.
• Ability to learn department software and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Handle all prescription work assigned; proactively contact patients to schedule/coordinate medication delivery.
• Ensure continuity of care and timeliness of shipping orders.
• Provide excellent customer service over the phone and route clinical inquiries as needed.
• Document patient issues and billing information; communicate with supervisors and staff.
