Job summary

CareMed Specialty Pharmacy in Woodridge, IL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician / Inbound Care Coordinator to join our expanding team. This full-time role Monday–Friday, 10:30am–7pm EST, involves coordinating medication deliveries, handling patient inquiries, and supporting billing and documentation with the clinical staff.

Starting salary from $22.00 per hour and up, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient data entry and computer skills.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Proactively calls patients to schedule/coordinate medication delivery and collect co-pays.
• Ensure continuity of care and timely shipping of orders.
• Provide excellent customer service over the phone and direct clinical inquiries to pharmacists.
• Document incidents and forward to appropriate staff.
• Ensure prescriptions are billed per Medicare/DMEPOS regulations and documented.
• Communicate with supervisors about patient care or needs.
