Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with prior authorizations.
• Ability to recognize and communicate insurance types.
• Proficiency in data entry and pharmacy claim processing.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Associate degree or 3+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and communicate insurance types and determine utilization.
• Enter communications and documentation into Biologics MIS.
• Assist with yearly reverification and related projects.
• Collect insurance information from patients.
• Triage prescriptions to preferred pharmacies or HUB providers.
• Process pharmacy claims in Biologics MIS and interpret responses.
• Manage inbound calls from patients, clients, physicians, and payors.
• Report adverse events and product complaints to clinicians.
• Handle internal communications via chat or email.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
