Job summary

Main Line Health's Bryn Mawr Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join the team and support filling, delivering, and preparing medications under a pharmacist's supervision.

The position involves night shifts (8:30 PM–7:00 AM) and part-time status with benefits, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and parking benefits highlighted in the description.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a strong math background.
• Ability to learn and become proficient with computers, IV aseptic technique, and medications stocked in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Fill and deliver medication orders with a Registered Pharmacist.
• Prepare IV medications and inspect inventory.
• Assist with organizing inventory and maintain accuracy of stock.

Position: Pharmacy Technician

Shift: Wednesday to Tuesday. Hours for the shift are 8:30PM to 7AM

++Experience:++

Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.

++Education:++

1. High school diploma or equivalent, along with a strong background in math, is required.
2. Ability to learn and become proficient in the use of computers, aseptic technique for IV preparations, and medications routinely stocked in the pharmacy, as necessary.

++Licensures/Certifications:++

Effective May 1, 2020:
Must be certified Pharmacy Tech or be enrolled in accredited Pharmacy program or progressing towards PharmD. Must be registered in the state of PA as a Pharmacy Technician,
