Job summary

Main Line Health, Inc. in Bryn Mawr, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital team.

You will work with a Registered Pharmacist to fill and deliver medication orders, prepare IV medications, and help maintain inventory in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Requirements include high school diploma with strong math, current PA Pharmacy Technician registration or enrollment in a PA-accredited program, and prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a strong background in math.
• Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Must be certified Pharmacy Technician or enrolled in accredited program or progressing towards PharmD.

Responsibilities

Position:

Pharmacy Technician

Shift:

Wednesday to Tuesday. Hours for the shift are 8:30PM to 7AM

Experience:

Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Education:

1. High school diploma or equivalent, along with a strong background in math, is required.

2. Ability to learn and become proficient in the use of computers, aseptic technique for IV preparations, and medications routinely stocked in the pharmacy, as necessary.

Licensures/Certifications:

Effective May 1, 2020:

Must be certified Pharmacy Tech or be enrolled in accredited Pharmacy program or progressing towards PharmD. Must be registered in the state of PA as a Pharmacy Technician,
