Job summary

Main Line Health's Bryn Mawr Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join its pharmacy team. You will fill and deliver medication orders, assist with IV preparations, and help maintain inventory under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

The role offers tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year, up to 120 hours of paid time off, and free employee parking. Candidates should have a high school diploma, math skills, and PA registration as a Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; strong math background.
• Must be certified Pharmacy Technician or enrolled in accredited program.
• PA registration as Pharmacy Technician required.

Responsibilities

• Fill and deliver medication orders under a Registered Pharmacist.
• Prepare IV medications and aseptic techniques as needed.
• Inspect and organize pharmacy inventory.

Pharmacy Technician

Shift

Wednesday to Tuesday. Hours for the shift are 8:30PM to 7AM

Experience

Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent, along with a strong background in math, is required.
• Ability to learn and become proficient in the use of computers, aseptic technique for IV preparations, and medications routinely stocked in the pharmacy, as necessary.

Licensures/Certifications

Effective May 1, 2020:

Must be certified Pharmacy Tech or be enrolled in accredited Pharmacy program or progressing towards PharmD. Must be registered in the state of PA as a Pharmacy Technician,
