Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to support IV admixtures, unit-dose syringes, and chemotherapy medication preparation. The role ensures compliance with state and federal rules and assists with maintaining stock in critical care and OR satellite areas.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, prior pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures, and current state registration, with PTCB certification preferred.
This position is PRN shift working variable shift hours

Responsible for the admixtures of medications to IV solutions. Preparation of unit dose syringes, chemotherapy medications, and compounding of solutions/medications used in the critical care and OR satellite areas. Maintaining adequate stock levels in assigned areas. Functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Works with pharmacy and technical staff to define and document business rules and best practice. Functions in duties of a Pharmacy Technician as needed.
